On Monday night I was dancing lambada and I danced so much that I felt a little bit sick. I got sea sickness because of spinning and at times, when I was dancing, my heart was beating like crazy. My clothes were all wet - I fisically felt I was back in London. In South America I experienced these symptoms only in Porto Seguro, Cali and Buenos Aires (well, sea sickness nowhere because they don't spin much).
Yesterday I was invited by my friend Estuardo to his home for a lovely dinner. His parents are over 60 years old now and they are working so hard. The mother wakes up at 4.30 am every day to clean an office. Then she babysits. The father works as a doorman. You don't see often older people working so hard when you travel in Ecuador.
I am definitely going to visit the family more often to practice my Spanish, and I also promised to cook something Polish for them.
