I started working for a Colombian radio, presenting English news in Spanish a couple of times a week. The first time I heard myself on the radio I thought it was horrible. Apparently it is always strange to hear your own voice.

She was always bullied because she was the tallest person in the school and also because of her surname. She must have had a really hard time as a teenager. Then she started playing basketball professionally and became an international star. I was very happy for her, I was the tallest girl in the class in Primary School and I knew the pain of being "different". Such a shame....
