COLOMBIA, in Cali

I arrived to Colombia on Thursday. The whole trip was tiring and Iberia lost my suitcase in Madrid. Luckily, the suitcase arrived 2 days later and Iberia compensated me quite well (160,000 pesos).
Orlando waited for me in the airport, with Alejandro who came by car. It was wonderful to see them again. We went to Tin Tin Deo, a salsa club where I used to spend a lot of time last year. Many of my friends came, it was great to see them too.
On Friday we didn't do much. Orlando had to work, he showed me his office and I met his colleagues. At night it was a party in his house. I felt tired because of the jetlag (6 hours difference) so I had a sleep at about 7 pm (1 am in England) and then I joined the party. We got very drunk because of the famous aguardiente. On Saturday my suitcase arrived so I could finally change and we went to Plaza de Torros for the salsa festival (Festival Mundial de Salsa). It was good but it rained a lot, we got wet and cold. I was interviewed by Colombian television, it always happens to me when I am in the country. After that we went to a birthday party of a friend who I met in February and we were dancing a lot again.
Yesterday we went to Orlando mum's house where I lived in January and February. I felt strange, as if I never left Cali and never spent 8 months in London. Then we went to the last day of the festival and it was much better because it didn't rain and the salsa competition was at a very high level - amazingly high level I would say. In the picture: with friends after the competition.
