Plitvice National Park (lake district)

We arrived in Korenica on Sunday afternoon, it's a nearest town to our hostel. When we arrived we found out that it was situated 3 kilometers away from the hostel, and the only way to get to the hostel was to drag our suitcases on a busy rural road with many lorries and buses. It was inconvenient and quite a long way considering that we are travelling with suitcases. We eventually found our hostel, unpacked and we went for a walk. When we came back, the owners of the hostel offered us a lift to the national park at 8 am the next day, that is this morning (it's 17 kilometers distance).
The park is amazing. I enjoyed it a lot - the lakes are crystal clear and their colour is breathtaking green. There are 5 options for walks, from a short one (2 - 3 hours) to a long one (6 - 8 hours). Initially, we wanted to do the longest one but then we realised that it didn't include a 20-minute boat ride on the biggest lake in the park: Kozjak lake. So we changed our minds and we did the 4 - 6 hours walk, called walk H. Entrance to the park costs 110 kunas = 12 pounds. We also found out that there are a couple of very nice and inexpensive (50 euros for a double room per night) hotels right by the entrance to the park... we should have stayed there instead of our hostel but you don't know this until you arrive in the area...
We were admiring the waterfalls and the great views from the top of the hills. I enjoyed so much the smell of the forest....
