This morning we did the famous black taxi tour in the west part of the city to see the political murals. Our taxi driver told us a lot of about the history and political division, how communities in west Belfast were divided into Republican (Nationalist) and Loyalist (Unionist) communities.
In the pictures: Loyalist Ulster Defence Association and Ulster Freedom Fighters mural (first picture) and our taxi by one of the 40 bomb-proof "peace walls" built in 1969 and separating the fighting communities.
In the afternoon we took a plane back to London.
