In Sicily

We just could not decide where to go on holiday in the first week of October which resulted in a last minute flight booking to Catania and return to London via Madrid (booking on Friday for departure on Saturday). We landed in Sicily on Saturday evening and got to Canicatti' (province of Agrigento) by bus. Fausto's family picked us up by car and took to their home in a town called Grotte.

On Sunday we went for lunch to a beautiful town in the mountains called Cammarata and after that we drove to San Leone for the best quality ice-cream and for a walk by the sea.
