On our last day in Madrid we decided to go to El Corte Inglés, the famous shopping centre. As it was situated 2 km from our hotel, we decided to walk. After 2 hours of walking we realised that we walked in the wrong direction! But as a result of this mistake we visited the business district which was very nice and then we took the metro to Nuevos Ministeros where the shopping centre was.
