In Gotemba

We had a fantastic day today. We took a train to Gotemba that is situated 50 km from Atami. It's a town near Mount Fuji, Japan's highest and most prominent mountain (3776 meters). We walked up the hill to the popular Peace Park and then walked higher in the mountains. Gotemba is situated about 10 km from the foot of Fuji and the view we had all the time was amazing.
After the hiking we went to a great Onsen with natural hot waters. It was a very nice and clean Onsen called Fujihakkei Spa.
After dinner we returned to Kinomiya where we were picked up by Sohko and her boyfriend.
