Yesterday (Wednesday) we went to the north of the island, to a town called Corralejo and we also took a ferry to an island called Los Lobos. It was very hot, Los Lobos is a volcanic island and has a couple of beaches. We had a walk on the island and then we went to the beach. We spent too long there and got burned. We felt angry with ourselves that we allowed this to happen but it's just difficult to assess how hot it is because there are strong winds in Furerteventura that deceive you into thinking that the sun is not as strong as it actually is.
On the way back we visited the capital of Fuerteventura, Puerto del Rosario. It's not a big town, quiet and there is not much to see.
In the pictures: Los Lobos island and Parque Natural de Corralejo with sand dunes.
