Calella

The next day we drove back to Spain, to Calella. It's a very nice town, with many shops and restaurant, and not deserted, so we felt much better there. We had a walk in the centre (long main street) and at night we picked up my dad from the Girona airport. His plane was late, he arrived about 1 am. We were all very tired but it was nice to see him.
On Thursday we decided to rest all day, not to drive anywhere and just take it easy in Calella. In the evening my Colombian friend Tatiana with her husband Isaac and their 3-year-old daughter Marianna came to see us. I met her in 2010 when I lived in Colombia. The last time I saw her and her husband was when I was travelling in Spain four years ago and she was four months pregnant. It was great to see them. They live in a city nearby called Granollers. Before they lived in a village, she didn't have any friends, she couldn't find any work and she felt very lonely. When they moved to Granollers, it all changed and they feel much happier there, although living in a city means having flat instead of a house. In the pictures: my dad in the main street of Calella and Tatiana with her family.
