In Seville

On Saturday we travelled to Seville. Fausto by bus and I used BlaBlaCar for the first time. It was a great experience. I travelled with 3 Spanish people and apart from speaking the language all the time, I could find out how they lived and what they were doing in different parts of the country.
I met Fausto in our hostel in Seville. It was difficult to get there as many streets had been blocked because of the Easter processions. The hostel is big, colourful and very clean but you can hear doors slamming all the time and peoples' conversations in other rooms. So yes, hostels are for young people who don't have to sleep for a few nights because of the slamming doors. Seville is very expensive during Easter and we couldn't find any other accommodation. Well... experience! :)
In the picture: Metropol Parasol is a wooden structure located at La Encarnación square, in the old quarter of Seville. It claims to be the largest wooden structure in the world. Its' appearance, location, delays and cost overruns in construction resulted in much public controversy. The building is popularly known as Las Setas de la Encarnación (Incarnation's mushrooms).
