After 2 years of not having a holiday due to the pandemic, we managed to travel to Tenerife. We like the Canary Islands, especially Fuerteventura, however the car hire was so expensive (about £500 for a week!) that we chose Tenerife where the public transport is excellent. The buses are very good, reliable and cheap. It's possible to visit most of the island, travelling by public buses. When we woke up in our comfortable and spacious room with a sea view, we had breakfast and went for a walk. We spent 6 hours walking and we went to a beautiful hidden beach Playa Diego Hernández - a hippie/nudist beach. It was warm (about 25°C) and we were swimming in the clean, transparent water.
