On Friday I travelled to Vitoria, then I took a tram to the University in the south part of the city. There I met with my BlaBlaCar driver, Jose. I found out that he was the University's lecturer. There were two other ladies that travelled with us, one of them a student of the University and the other a college teacher. We had a good time travelling to Saragossa, where the ladies got off and two other ladies got in. They were travelling to Valencia like myself. They were from Ecuador and Nicaragua. Again, I had a great time, listening to salsa, bachata and Spanish songs. I spent long time in Jose's car, with two breaks, and it was wonderful. I met interesting people and I was able to practise Spanish for over 6 hours :) I also learned where the La Rioja province is, I knew the wine of course but I didn't know where the province was. Jose comes from Logroño (in the picture below), which is the capital La Rioja.

We arrived in Valencia in the evening. As soon as I arrived, I felt happy. I just like this city so much. I walked to my Homestay host Sara, who lives in Cabañal, by the beach. On the way there I had dinner - a huge glass of sangria, big salad and rice with seafood. When I got to Sara's place, she was going out so she gave me a key and I went shopping. When I came back I met Sara's dog. He wasn't there earlier as a family member took him for a walk. Box was a lovely, well-mannered dog, kind of a boxer but with a long face and long tail. He was shy at the beginning but he quickly warmed up to me.
