We were very tired after our awful BA flight from Heathrow to Delhi and we slept for 3 hours, yet we managed to do many things today. We visited the wonderful Qutub Minar - the tallest minaret in India, and the surrounding area. This victory tower is a symbol of the synthesis of traditional Islamic architecture and Southwestern Asian design. We also visited Khan's tomb in the nearby park.
When we came back to our Homestay accommodation, we had a lovely chat with the owner, who invited us for masala tea. In the evening we had a great curry meal in Haldiram restaurant, that serves traditional Indian food, drinks and sweets. It feels sooo nice to be in India again.
