This morning we went to Red Fort by Delhi metro. The metro system is very good and clean, however it can be super crowded. We were lucky, it wasn't crowded, and I was sitting in the carriage for women which had free seats. The cost of one metro journey in Delhi is 20 - 50 pence, depending on the distance and day of the week (cheaper at weekends). Red Fort is closed at the moment because the country is preparing for the celebrations of the Republic Day on the 26th January. Shame! We were not able to visit it. We went to 3 temples instead, including Delhi's landmark - Lotus Temple.
