The next holiday was in Sardegna. We met two friends in Gatwick airport, one by chance, another one was a friend who rents apartments in Teulada. We gave her a lift from Cagliari airport and we stayed in her and her husband's rented apartment. Teulada is a small town in the middle of nowhere, but close to many beaches. I really liked it there. For someone coming from a busy city like London it's like paradise: not many people, not many cars (sometimes it looks completely deserted). It's very quiet, apart from weekends, when there is a little local market in the centre. A little shock for a Londoner.
