The next day (Monday) Liz took us to Terme dei Papi, thermal baths. We stayed there for about 2 hours and we enjoyed it a lot. The natural steam room was very hot, 58 degrees C. I couldn't stay there for longer than 20 minutes with a short break. Then you are wrapped in a plastic sheet to sweat more (by the people who work there, for about half an hour) and then you go to a thermal swimming pool. The pool is large and wonderful, with different water temperatures in different parts of the pool. In the evening Liz took us to Viterbo, a town nearby, another beautiful medieval town. We had a walk around and enjoyed every minute of it.
