We arrived in Valletta, Malta, on 14 April. I saw some industrial areas from the plane and I thought that the islands were mainly industrial, and I was very disappointed. As we found out later, the view from the plane was very misleading and the islands of Malta are very beautiful. We took a ferry from Valletta and arrived in our rented apartment in Gozo and wow what apartment it was. One of the best we have ever stayed in, in the whole world. Spacious top floor apartment with big windows and views from all the windows, including beautiful sea views. Just to be inside the apartment felt like being on holiday. It was situated in Għajnsielem, right by the Gozo port. We went for a walk in the town and I loved it. Very quiet, not touristy at all, just a few cars driving around, with a very inexpensive restaurant in the town's main square (where I had amazing seafood).
