Today we went to Connaught Place by the excellent Delhi metro (Airport Express). Connaught Place is a frenetic business and financial hub, centred on a ring of colonnaded Georgian-style buildings with global chain stores, vintage cinemas, bars and Indian restaurants. In the middle there is Central Park with some trees, many flowers and a huge Indian flag. After that we went to one of the most beautiful Hindu temples I have ever seen, the Akshardham Temple.
