We arrived in San José on Tuesday, and took a public bus from the airport to our rented apartment. The next day we went to the centre of the city, at 6 am because of the jetlag. It was cold and windy. The weather changed later, at midday, it was hot and sunny.
We visited the National Museum and the Museum of Costa Rican art. The city itself is not so pretty, although it has nice parks. We also went to the Central Market that we liked.
We had lunch in a local Soda, a place with typical Costa Rican food, which seemed to be very bland. It may be the effect of the jetlag..
