Last night I slept for only 3 hours. I put alarm on for 10 am, otherwise I would sleep all day long like yesterday. Then I finished unpacking and I went to Oxford Streed to buy a webcam and a sim card. I spent 1.5 hours to get to the centre on the bus and the same time to come back. This is one of very few reasons I don't like the city and I am thinking about moving closer to the centre, although considering the traffic it will always be far.
Unfortunately the phone I bought in Colombia (as my old one had been stolen) is not working here so I cannot use the sim card unless I buy a new phone tomorrow.
In the evening I had a guest. My best friend Jerome came to visit me and we had a lot of fun. We talked a lot about travelling, I made him listen to the best salsa music from Cali, and we installed the webcam software (in the picture trying one of the funciones).
We were wondering why foreigners live in South America despite the safety issues and poverty in some countries. It must be the stress-free environment that attracts foreigners, and to be honest, I was tempted by it too.
