On Thursday Anna, my landlady (she doesn't like when I say this, she prefers to be called by me "friend") invited me to to a SGI buddhist discussion meeting, very close to our house. It was hosted by one of the people attending the regular meetings. We talked a lot about peace in the world (in connection with the recent events in North Africa and Japan) and I talked about some of the experiences of my South American trip.

Yesterday I went out dancing salsa. In the picture with my friend Rachid who I have known for about 7 years. He can't dance but he is looking for a girlfriend at the moment.
And the latest news: my twin friend Giac (whose birthday is on the same day what mine but he is few years older) is getting famous as a stand up comedy participant. Here is an article writen for "Il Fatto Quotidiano" - an Italian magazine (only in Italian).

I have known Giac for many years, we initially met at a Backabush hiking club halloween weekend in Kent. I liked his sense of humor right from the beginning. Giac attends the Italian community meetings in London and he also invited me to his family summer house in Puglia in Italy (4 years ago). I met his parents and I spent a lot of time on the beach, which was situated 2 minutes walk from the house.
Aga, how wonderful your landlady friend is a SGI member! So are Davide and I, and those two Japanese friends that come to the birthday! It's your SGI week!! ;) Cinzia
