London gets crazy before Christmas. Christmas parties, drinks, lights and people rushing in the streets to buy presents (although less now than years ago due to online shopping facility) are joyful signs that this time of the year is very close.
I am preparing myself for a 2-week trip to Italy to visit my friends and their families. I love Italian culture and the people however I haven't been in Italy for 6 years and I am wondering whether my perception about Italy is going to change? Or it will remain the same?
I also have some extraordinary memories from last year's Christmas and New Years Eve in South America, which make me feel a little bit melancholic.
