My host Ysa is wonderful. She is the kind of person I like - energetic, talkative and fearless. She has 2 teenage children and a boyfriend who is 15 years younger than her.
Today I visited La Alcazaba http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcazaba_of_Almer%C3%ADa (in the picture) and the centre of the city. Almeria is small but it seems to be really nice and more mediterranean than Alicante. In the afternoon I met with Javier - a friend of my friend Priscilla from London. He lives outside of Almeria, in a place called Roquetas de Mar near Parador de las Hortichuelas. It took 30 minutes to get to Roquetas by bus. Javier cooked lunch in his flat and then he gave me lift to the beach as he had to come back to work.
