Yesterday we visited Hvar, which is the capital of Hvar island. We got there by catamaran (1 hour, 5 pounds) and came back to Split at night by a ferry from another town Stari Grad (2 hours, 5 pounds). We had to travel to Stari Grad which is situated 20 minutes away from Hvar town as there is no transport back from the town.
Hvar is admirable. We also had great food for lunch (tuna with salad and I had a huge bowl of fresh mussels) and then we found a nice rocky beach with just few people on it.
