The next day we took a train to Noto and a bus to Pachino. Then a guy from a bar in Pachino gave us a lift to the seaside, where we spent several hours on the beach. To come back to Pachino we had to hitch hike as there were no buses or trains. I was laughing as it was the first time Fausto ever hitch hiked. Luckily it was an easy experience for him, I waved once and the first car stopped :)

From Pachino we took a bus to Noto and we visited this beautiful town; we were amazed how nice it was. We stayed there for 4 hours and then we came back to Siracusa. Luigi picked us up from the train station and he took us to his flat in central Siracusa. His wife and friends were preparing very nice food in the flat. I loved the flat, it was big, modern and it had a nice view. After the meal Elisa chose a black and white film set in Poland to watch. We spent another great evening with these friendly and hospitable people.
