On our last day in Tenerife we went to La Punta de Hidalgo, a pleasant and relaxing town on the north coast of the island - we adored it. It was a great day, still windy but it was warm, around 24 degrees in the sun. We did a long walk along the seaside with one stop for a healthy lunch.
In Tenerife the distances between cities are short, buses and trams cheap and the public transport system is excellent.
