Yesterday we visited Teide National Park with its beautiful active volcano Teide (3718 meters above sea level - the highest point in Spain). We wanted to take a cable car but it was closed due to strong wings and the very top area of the volcano was unaccessible for security reasons, due to too much ice and snow. So we did 2 walks on the hight of about 2356 m (this is where the cable car starts). I really enjoyed it - it was windy but very sunny.
