This morning it was pouring with rain. We took a bus and went to Little India, but it disappointed me a lot. Dirty and without good Indian shops like in Brick Lane. I wanted to buy Indian sweets that I like but I didn't manage to find a good and clean shop.
I love the temperature here, over 30 degrees all the time.
We returned to the hotel and in the evening we went to Gardens by the Bay, a big park in central Singapore where I especially liked the Cloud Forest. We came back to the hotel at night, exhausted.
Gardens by the Bay

In general we are very impressed with Singapore, there is so much to do, people are very nice and the city centre area is stunning. The only thing that doesn't match the image of Singapore I had in mind before I came here is that I thought that the streets would be spotless clean and they are not spotless clean, although quite clean. What is extremely clean and spacious is the underground train system and the airport.
The annoying thing is that you pay taxes on everything you buy, even in a shop or restaurant. So you never know how much exactly you will pay when you queue at the till, unless you calculate and add the tax in your head before you pay.
In the pictures: China Town where we are staying and solar - powered Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay.
