We are back in London after a wonderful trip. In 3 weeks we visited:
  • Malaysia: Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi island 
  • Singapore: Singapore city
  • Thailand: Phuket island, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Koh Lanta island and Trang
From our experience: travelling by plane is cheap and comfortable in this part of Asia. Buses in Malaysia are comfortable too but they are awful in Thailand. Our only overnight train journey from Bangkok to Surat Thani was a good experience.
The countries we visited are safe, most of the people were honest and we didn't need to worry about our safety.
We love beds in Asia - rock hard, exactly as we like them.
The people in the countries we visited were nice and welcoming - overall we had a fantastic holiday!
