In Nara

Today has been raining again. But what can you do when you are on holiday, it rains and there are many places to see... We went to Nara, a town situated 37 km from Kyoto.
Nara is what we were looking for in Japan, there is a nice high street and many Japanese style houses. Nara is famous for its park, temples, shrines and pagodas. We visited some of them, including Todaiji temple, the biggest wooden construction in the world. It's a fantastic town, we really liked it.

Back in Kyoto, we went to a sushi restaurant, similar to that in Sapporo, with a conveyor belt that carries plates with sushi so you can choose what you want or order sushi by selecting pictures or names on a screen. There is no interaction with the waiting staff while you are eating.
In the pictures: in Nara and in the sushi restaurant.
