When we came back to our hosts’ apartment, we had a rest and then the guys took us out to show us a temple and to try the Mumbai street food, they took us to places that served food which they knew wouldn’t cause us any stomach problems afterwards. The food and fruit juices were lovely, I especially liked chikku milkshake. Chikku is a berry which is 6-8 cm in diameter, has a tough outer skin, with the flesh having the texture of a pear. When it is ripe it is extremely sweet and has a taste of caramel.
