The next day (on Sunday) Luis showed us some parts of Valencia. He drove us to the Marina, we had a walk near the beach and a nice lunch with the most amazing sangria in a restaurant facing the beach. We also went to the City of Arts and Sciences which is a unique complex devoted to scientific and cultural dissemination made up of five main elements: the Hemisfèric (IMAX cinema and digital projections), the Umbracle (a landscaped vantage point and car park), the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum (an innovative centre of interactive science), the Oceanográfico (the largest aquarium in Europe with over 500 marine species) and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.
It was a cold windy day so we were a little bit disappointed by the weather but we had a great time anyway. In the pictures: walk near the beach and in the City of Arts and Sciences.
