We took a public bus to Monte Albán ruins, situated in Valley of Oaxaca. The bus takes half an hour and it goes high up the mountains. Monte Albán is a UNESCO World Heritage Centre with ruins of an ancient centre of Zapotec and Mixtec culture. The place is beautiful, we spent a couple of hours visiting the site and the museum. It's one of our favourite places in Mexico.
In the evening for the last time we went out in the amazing centre of Oaxaca. We had street food for dinner: freshly made crisps, corn on the cob and fried plátanos with lechera (condensed milk).
