Hoi An is good but for a couple of days max in my opinion. It's just one big market selling clothes (that I didn't like), local art and food. You are stopped by many people offering goods or services and you have to huggle. Travellers are pestered all the time.
Fausto brought two pairs of trousers from London as Hoi An is famous for clothes making, so he thought they could repair clothes too. The quality of the repair of his trousers was so poor (by one of the best companies in the town) that I would not trust them to make anything for me. The boss of the company didn't want any money from Fausto as he knew Fausto was not happy.
