In the afternoon we took a Grab taxi to Bitexco Financial Tower and a lift to the 49th floor. The Tower is a skyscraper and has a height of 262 meters. The view of the city and the Saigon River was amazing. It was also cool and quiet there, a little oasis far from crowds. Its' design is supposed to represent a lotus bud as the lotus is the Vietnamese national flower, and the building is covered in glass and steel. It's also a symbol of beauty and the rapid development of Ho Chi Minh City economy, a key economic region in Vietnam.
