We spent most of the second day of our holiday trying to sort out my covid green pass app (called Al Hosn) that was not working. After visiting some vaccination centres and government departments it was finally sorted out by an immigration officer in the Abu Dhabi airport, at that point I was about to explode with frustration. When we arrived at the government department, we were told we had to cover our arms and legs, as if we were entering a mosque. We had to drive back home, put the correct clothing on and back again to the same place, and from there to the airport.
