I had an agreement with my host for 3 nights, but as we got on well, and he wanted to go to the beach again (not on his own) he suggested I stay one more day. So I did and I didn't regret it!
First of all, I experienced the MDQ weather first hand. It was very hot in the morning, we left to Playa Puerto, in the city's port. It was stinking so much that I had to cover my nose. It was over 40 degrees Celsius and at one point I struggled with the temperature (so I drank a beer haha and yes it helped me to carry on walking). Then on the beach it became cold within 20 minutes, and the temperature dropped to about 20 degrees. I couldn't believe it. It also started raining.
I didn't want to stay on the beach any longer (not very successful beach trip), so we went to the port and I saw the sea lions! I couldn't believe it either, sea lions everywhere, in the port and in the protected nature reserve. I was observing them for a long time.
