I like Lampedusa a lot. It doesn't have Irish or English pubs, neither noisy clubs. Today we went to a famous beach called Spiaggia dei Conigli (Rabbit Beach), crowded but amazing beach, one of the best we have ever seen. To get to it we had to walk for about 20 minutes down the hill and to come back to our motorbike, up the hill. The water was transparent and there were big fish swimming right by the shore, on a depth of about 20 cm.
The beach was very crowded; we were advised that the best time to come here is the first half of September or the first week of October (in the last half of September there is a Festa della Madonna that attracts a lot of people).
In the evening we went for a walk and to a restaurant on the lovely main street of Lampedusa, Via Roma.
In the pictures: Spiaggia dei Conigli and Via Roma.
