Today we did a tour, we went to a floating market where the trade takes place on the river. Then we visited Kanchanaburi and the famous Bridge on the River Kwai and the last place was a Tiger Temple that we didn't like at all. I thought it would be a nice temple where monks look after tigers that were abandoned by mothers or injured. Instead, it's an absolutely horrible place where you can touch and take pictures with chained tigers that lie in the sun for who knows how long and are probably drugged. They were too calm, looked exhausted and were panting as they lay on the ground. We felt quite sorry for them and did not feel any pleasure having our photos taken with them. Horrible.
It took 3 hours to come back to Bangkok and we were pretty tired, again because of the heat. After dinner we had an excellent foot massage right by our hotel, the women were very good at the massage.
In the pictures: in the floating market and one of several pictures with tigers that we are not proud of.
