29 April 2014
Today we went to a snake farm. We were afraid it would be similar to the tiger experience but it was different. We witnessed how to extract venom from different kind of snakes and then we took part in a snake show where we were presented with few kinds of snakes - it was interesting and informative.
After that we took a river taxi again and we spent too much time on the river. Earlier, we booked an overnight train for 7.30 pm. We had to run to the hotel from the river and to the underground and then to the train station, it was sooo stressful. At the underground station there was a very long queue to buy tickets, I had to go to the front of the queue and beg the people there to let me buy tickets without queuing. Luckily they were very nice, like most people in Thailand, and they even helped me buy the tickets.
