Last night we had a nice and healthy Japanese meal for £9.15 (price for both of us!).
This morning we had breakfast for £3.95 including coffee (again for both of us).
Lunch cost us £4.00. I was worried that meals will be expensive but they are not unless you go to a fancy restaurant. Bars and coffee shops are inexpensive and the food is tasty.

Last night we struggled because of jet-lag. We went to bed at 9 pm Tokyo time and woke up at 1.30 am. We fell asleep again after 5 am. We feel very tired today.
The lack of sleep doesn't stop us from visiting the city. We went to Ueno Park to see the cherry blossom (Sakura) again and many people were having lunch on blankets.
Then we went to Shibuya district with the famous pedestrian crossing which is a four way intersection. Then we visited the Meiji-Jingu shrine and then we went to the Ginza district with a lot of posh shops. We did a lot of walking.

In the evening we will be travelling to Narita airport where we are staying in Narita View Hotel and tomorrow we are flying to Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido island.
We like Tokyo, although it's a big city and we think that 2 days is enough to visit it if you don't go to museums.
In the pictures: Sakura in Ueno Park and very busy Shibuya four way intersection.
