We had a good night’s sleep and in the morning we went to see the White Buddha statue, situated on a hill, 20 minutes’ walk from our hotel. It was well worth it. The view from there was fantastic and the whole place had a good vibe and it wasn't overcrowded with just a handful of tourists visiting. There is also a house where the Buddhists live. The entrance to the whole area costs 200 rupees per person and then you are asked for a small donation.
