We were planning to visit three royal tombs in Hue but our plans had to change. We went to bed early but woke up after midnight as there were bed bugs crawling on our beds and biting Fausto. I was fine, all the bugs love Fausto because his body temperature is high. We went to the reception and showed them two bed bugs we had caught. We were given a key to another room. When we went in, there were bed bugs too. We immediately packed and left the hotel. We found another hotel, more expensive and more tatty than our original hotel and in the morning we had a proper look if the bed bugs got in our suitcases and clothes but luckily we couldn't find any.
We decided to find a better hotel so we saw some rooms in different hotels. We found bed bugs in one of them... it seemed like a bed bug infestation! Eventually we found a nice hostel and after a good beds inspection we decided to stay. Obviously the experience was traumatic. Below: some more pictures from The Citadel.
